Mr. Welna has over 30 years of high tech financial experience in both biotech and software. Prior to joining Pulmatrix in 2008, Welna was Senior Director, Finance and Operations for Domantis Ltd. Welna joined Domantis in 2002 and was responsible for the development of the financial function for both the UK and U.S. operations, until Domantis was acquired in 2007 by Glaxo SmithKline for $454 million. Prior to Domantis, Welna held various senior level financial positions at Lodestar Corporation, iKnowledge, Inc., and Cayenne Software, Inc. Welna’s extensive background includes experience with mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, and international financial management as well as being a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Oregon.
